Popcorn

Yep you guessed I am about to throw out another crazy word!
PFOA:
Perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA), also known as C8 and perfluorooctanoate, is a synthetic, stable perfluorinated carboxylic acid and fluorosurfactant.
PFOA prevents foods from sticking to paper also used in nonstick cookware and it is a carcinogen!  This yummy chemical lines the bags of your microwaveable popcorn.  What does the EPA say about this, nothing really just that they do not know all the effects this chemical may have.  Sweet!  When they find out will they let me know? Or will it be too late?

Can't wait til then?  Pick up an air popper those are supper fun anyway!
Or be super boring and look for PFOA free bags.
