Does it concern you that in 30 states; 80% had chemicals from personal-care products in their lakes and streams? Remember PPCP's (pharmaceuticals, personal-care products) are everything from prescriptions that contain antibiotics, sexual enhancement drugs, supplements to parabens and menstrual care products. Guess what these are not being cleaned from our drinking water. Do not dispose of any prescriptions or vitamins down your sink, toilet or garbage! Take them back to your pharmacist and properly dispose of them. Walgreen's has a great prescription recycler program that is free! As far as shampoos and other personal care products; sulfate and paraben free is the way to go!
